Outbound Sales Development Representative (US)

The Position

We are looking for someone who is passionate about engaging directly with potential customers and helping them uncover their problems. The Sales Development Representative at Checkbox is responsible for prospecting and cold outreach to those prospects via primarily phone calls and emails. You will be working closely with a Checkbox Account Executive and will be responsible for laying the foundation for the opportunity by engaging with prospects and customers, helping them understand the value of Checkbox, and moving them forward in the sales process. As Checkbox’s first point of contact with a prospect, you play a key role in building the Checkbox brand, creating a great first impression, and building momentum for not only the sales team but the company as a whole.

In this position, you will:
+ Create and prioritize strategic target account lists with Account Executives
+ Generate new business pipeline for Account Executives through email, cold calling, event follow-up, social etc.
+ Provide a great experience for Checkbox’s prospective customers
+ Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of our product and its value to customers
+ Demonstrate an ability to understand prospect pain points and attract new customers
+ Work with other functions to improve business processes
+ Engage in team development and mentoring

Requirements

Compensation will vary based on experience but will consist of salary and commission.
