As the Content & Social Media Manager at Checkbox, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Marketing. Working closely with events, digital and product marketing, you will be responsible for executing thought leadership and lead generation projects through content creation, email marketing & social media. This role is perfect for a highly creative individual who is energised by strategizing and managing thought-provoking and value-driven content.
For this role, we are looking for someone who is hungry to grow 10x, is hard-working and is an absolutely gun. Checkbox is an ultra-fast paced & high growth environment and in order to be successful in this role, you’ll need to be a quick learner and be able to execute with first-class quality.
In this position, you will:
+ Manage Checkbox’s content strategy and work with content writers or agencies to deliver white papers, e-books and videos.
+ Get your hands dirty to execute on case studies, blogs, use case content and videos.
+ Manage the content and information architecture of the Checkbox website as well as optimising for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
+ Create, execute and analyze email lifecycle campaigns.
+ Create weekly content for Checkbox’s social media platforms i.e. LinkedIn and Twitter.
+ Work closely with the sales and customer success team to drive lead generation or conversion-focused content.
+ Report on the performance of content, social media and email campaigns on a weekly basis to the Head of Marketing.
+ Able to work full-time, 5 days a week
+ Minimum 2 years proven working experience in B2B content marketing or social media
+ Growth and continuous improvement mindset
+ Passionate about marketing, startups and technology
+ A genuine enjoyment of writing and desire to create persuasive, compelling copy
+ Ability to learn quickly and in-depth about no-code and different enterprise industries
+ Extremely high attention to detail in both writing and administrative tasks
+ A great communicator; extremely comfortable talking to agencies or internal staff
+ Loves creating “wow” moments and are always thinking about how to get there
+ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field
+ Proficient at Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro) or equivalent
+ Ability to design and create assets such as infographics, banners, posters & email templates
+ Experience working at a high growth technology start-up, in B2B SaaS or the legal industry
Compensation will vary based on experience
