Checkbox allows your users to securely and easily sign into our platform using the same credentials they use in other applications i.e. M365 and AWS. However, we are flexible SSO can be based on your IDP as long as the IDP facilitates SAML2.0 based authentication i.e. AAD, ADFS, Okta, etc. ensuring greater security and compliance whilst providing improved usability and employee satisfaction.

What is No-Code?

No-code is a type of software development technology that allows users to build and maintain applications using drag and drop.

This means that users can build applications faster and with less bugs than the typical code-based approach. However, whilst Checkbox is no-code, our JavaScript and API connectivity allows IT teams to expand the platform to your line of business applications for more complex integrations.

supports IT and existing App development practices

Checkbox reduces errors, risks and time to deployment

Whilst Checkbox is no-code, some use-cases will still require the involvement of IT teams either due to complexity or the need for integrations with other line of business applications. The Checkbox authoring studio provides capabilities that enable code to be applied and executed on both the client-side and the server-side, leveraging the skill set of IT to extend the workflow foundations built by the business users. This approach is typically faster, lower cost and prone to less errors than typical code-based approaches.

Checkbox frees up IT teams to focus on high value work

Checkbox empowers business users to automate and address low value and low complexity workflows and decision automation. The intuitive and visual UI means that business users can make iterative changes easily without constantly involving IT. This means that IT can focus on the high value, high complexity work that delivers the most impact to the organization.

Checkbox facilitates solution lifecycle management

The Checkbox platform is designed to accommodate enterprise deployment governance frameworks so that IT teams can maintain the level of control and visibility of business applications being developed and deployed. Checkbox packages together a version control system, a rapid App building interface, as well as a tiered deployment architecture with testing, staging and production tiers. This can be configured based on our clients' needs, ensuring that any Application shipped to production are robust and are released subject to our clients' change management policies and processes.

Checkbox is self-service and handles support

The Checkbox platform is quick to learn and easy to use. With in-platform UX features and out-of-platform self-help resources for users, authoring users can be largely self-sufficient without IT intervention. In the event that a user requires high touch support, the Checkbox licence includes access to support in alignment with our Support Policy. This frees up the IT teams to focus on helping the business solve organisation-specific challenges, rather than support another platform and its challenges that will arise. Alternatively, Checkbox can train IT to provide first line support to the business users.

Integrate Checkbox Apps with Your Existing Work

Checkbox can be integrated with any other system that has available REST APIs. Integrations within Checkbox applications typically streamline the flow of data and trigger events across your existing systems and workflow. You can pull data and documents from other systems into Checkbox and conversely push data and documents into other systems automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

Checkbox is a no code platform that enables non-technical business users to build automation tools rather than other low code platforms that are used by the IT team because they are too technical or difficult to use for business users. Checkbox is also unique in that it combines forms automation, decisioning support, document automation and workflow automation all on a single platform to enable complete end-to-end expert process automation with a seamless end-user experience.

Checkbox automates manual processes that involve precious expert time. We call this expert process automation (EPA). This includes processes such as collecting information, generating documents, conducting risk assessments, drawing conclusions, providing advice and answering FAQs, review and approval workflows, and conducting quality assurance and audits. Checkbox is no code. Our completely visual drag and drop application builder means that anyone can build their own automation and workflow tools without coding or IT knowledge. We have lawyers, HR, procurement, risk and compliance professionals, business analysts all building on Checkbox, without prior technical knowledge.

Checkbox is designed to be the fastest no code development platform. We have seen simple applications with basic logic (e.g. NDA automation) built in just 15 minutes, right up to complex end-to-end business processes (e.g. complete automation of an organisation’s entire procurement framework) built in 6 months. Regardless of the size and complexity of the solution, Checkbox’s completely visual drag and drop application builder allows solutions to be built and deployed in a fraction of the time, risk, and cost compared to traditional IT development.
