Brian Hupp is a Senior Strategist & Consultant with UpLevel Ops, a boutique consulting firm specializing in providing legal operations assessments and services for in-house Legal Departments, universities and law firms. In addition to his overall legal operations expertise, Brian specializes in workflow and contract management process readiness, design, and implementation projects for his clients, and in self-service contracting enablement.
Leveraging experience from over 25 years in the legal industry, Brian has made a career of building corporate legal operations functions from the ground up and has served as director of legal operations and Chief of Staff to the GC at Electronic Arts and Dolby Laboratories, and as the first Head of Legal Operations at Facebook.
Sumi Trombley
Sumi Trombley is the Senior Legal Ops Advisor at UpLevel Ops. Sumi previously served as Director, Legal at enterprise legal services provider Marshall Denning, LLC, where she managed and trained a team of junior and senior attorneys and developed and implemented resource optimizing processes for RFPs and pre-litigation disputes. She is known for her ability to provide strategic guidance and cost-effective solutions.
Prior to joining Marshall Denning, Sumi was Legal Counsel at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, serving as a de facto general counsel to top enterprise IT outsourcing accounts.
